Что это случилось? и как решить?

В моем случае на моем сервере было несколько образов Ubuntu 20.10 Docker. Из-за устаревания Ubuntu 20.10 все выпуски PPA ушли.
Я решил эту проблему, развернув образы Ubuntu 20.04 и обновив пакеты для этой версии. Я планирую развернуть новые образы в 22.04, как только они появятся некоторое время назад.

Исходя из опыта, хотя это и возможно , не рекомендуется пытаться понизить версию пакетов и PPA на вашем компьютере.

Что делать, если в репозитории/репозитории нет файла Release?

Я бы предложил следующее:

• Удалите PPA для более старой версии. Для этого примера:sudo ppa-purge ppa:mc3man/trusty-media

• Если для вашего текущего выпуска есть PPA, добавьте его. В этом случае для Xenial есть PPA: mc3man/xerus-media . Вы можете добавить его, используяsudo add-apt-repository ppa:mc3man/xerus-media
